First of all, Happy New Year to you all. It’s been 5 months that I’ve been posting at this blog and I’ve posted a total of 40 posts (including some posts that I’ve immigrated from my old blog) over that period. I must admit 40 is considerably low number of posts over 5 months yet, I’m quite grateful and glad that I’ve gathered over 6K hits from everywhere. And I’d like to take this chance to thank every reader, commenter, rss subscriber and referrer for their generous support, ever since my first post here, of motivation for me to keep writing.

1 - GTalk Bomber ရဲ႕ spam ဒါဏ္ ခံျပီးျပီလား?

A program called GTalk Bomber bombarded burmese GTalk users’ community spamming everyone to use that program which supposedly will allow you to send a message to everyone in your contact list with a few clicks. This post tried to warn many Gtalk users of the consequences in using this application. And it has been circulated among many Burmese websites so that it generated a spike in traffic with the highest peak of 2.5K unique visits for the month of September for a pathetically small site as mmhan.net.

To Conclude

Even though, I’ve never said it as many of you have imagined, I’ve been writing with a specific target in mind even though it can’t be easily defined by myself.

However complicated it may be, I guess I could say my objective is:

“Amidst the thousands of blogs and hundreds of Burmese blog, I’d like you, my dear reader to have gained a teeny tiny bit of knowledge or awareness that could come in handy in your daily life from reading a post that I’ve cooked up.”

HTML အေၾကာင္းေျပာျပီဆိုေတာ့ နည္းနည္းေလး Technical ပိုင္းပုိမ်ားမယ္လုိ႕ ထင္ပါတယ္။ ဒါေပမယ့္ HTML အေၾကာင္းကို introduction ေလာက္ေလးပဲ လုပ္သြားမွာျဖစ္တဲ့ အတြက္ ဘာမွေတာ့ သိပ္အမ်ားၾကီး မပါေသးပါဘူး။

သာမန္ ျမန္မာ netizen တစ္ေယာက္အေနနဲ႕ တစ္ေန႕တစ္ေန႕ ၾကည့္ၾကည့္ေနတဲ့ web page ေတြကို ဘယ္လုိ ေဆာက္ထားလဲ ဆိုတဲ့ အေၾကာင္းကို ကိုယ္စီးတဲ့ ႏြား အထီးလား အမလား သိရုံေလာက္ပဲ ေရးသြားမွာပါ။

HTML ဆိုတာဘာလဲ?

HTML ဆိုတာကို အရွည္ေျပာရရင္ေတာ့ Hyper Text Markup Language လုိ႕ေျပာရပါလိမ့္မယ္။ ဟိုလူကေျပာ ဒီလူကေျပာ ေျပာေျပာေနၾကမယ့္ HTML ဆိုတာဟာ ကၽြန္ေတာ္တုိ႕ ဘယ္အခ်ိန္ၾကည့္ၾကည့္ ဘယ္ website ကိုၾကည့္ၾကည့္ ျမင္ရသမွ်ကို web browser ကျပႏုိင္ဖုိ႕ အတြက္ အဓိကလုိတဲ့ file တစ္ခု (သို႕မဟုတ္) text file တစ္ခုပါပဲ။

အခုအခ်ိန္မွာ XHTML ဆိုတဲ့ standard မွီတဲ့ HTML language သာ သံုးေတာ့ေပမယ့္ အဲ့ဒီ့ XHTML ကိုလည္း အမ်ားအားျဖင့္ HTML လုိ႕သာေခၚၾကပါတယ္။

ဘာကြာလည္းေတာ့ ေခါင္းေနာက္သြားမွာ စိုးတဲ့အတြက္ ေနာက္မွပဲ ရွင္းျပပါေတာ့မယ္။ လုိရာကိုပဲေျပာျပီး HTML ဘယ္ကစလဲ? ဘယ္သူထြင္လဲ? ဘယ္တုန္းကလဲ? စတဲ့ သမုိင္းသင္ခန္းစာေတြ ကိုေက်ာ္လုိက္ရေအာင္။

HTML ဘယ္လုိေရးမလဲ?

လြယ္ပါတယ္။ Notepad နဲ႕ ေရးပါတယ္။ တကယ္လုိ႕ notepad နဲ႕ တျဖည္းျဖည္း html ကို နားလည္လာျပီဆိုရင္ web development အတြက္သံုးႏုိင္တဲ့ IDE တစ္ခုခုကို ေျပာင္းသံုးျပီး ဆက္ေရးႏုိင္ပါတယ္။

HTML မွာ Tag ေတြကို သံုးျပီး mark up လုပ္ပါတယ္။ Tag အမ်ိဴးအစားေပၚမူတည္ျပီး ဘာျပေပးရမယ္ဆိုတာကို web browser က ၾကည့္ျပီး ျပေပးပါတယ္။

ဥပမာ <a> ဆိုတဲ့ Tag မ်ိဴးကိုေတြ႕ရင္ anchor သုိ႕ link ျပေပးရမယ္၊ <p>...</p> ဆုိတဲ့ tag မ်ိဴးကိုေတြ႕ရင္ ၾကားထဲမွာရွိတဲ့ စာကို paragraph တစ္ခုအေနနဲ႕ ျပေပးရမယ္ေပါ့။

HTML tag ေတြမွာ characteristic ေလး တခ်ိဳ႕ ရွိပါတယ္။ သူတုိ႕ေတြမွာ

  1. အေၾကာင္းရွိတယ္
  2. ေဆြမ်ိဴးရွိတယ္
  3. အစနဲ႕ အဆံုးရွိတယ္

အေၾကာင္းရွိတဲ့ HTML tag

HTML tag ေတြမွာ သူတို႕ကိုယ္ပိုင္ အေၾကာင္းအရာေလးေတြ (Attribute ေတြ) ရွိပါတယ္။

ဥပမာ Link တစ္ခုကိုေရးတဲ့ HTML tag တစ္ခုဟာ

<a href="http://mmhan.net" title="Go to mmhan.net">Go to mmhan.net</a> ဆိုရင္

အဲ့ဒီ anchor link ရဲ႕ attribute ေတြဟာ href နဲ႕ title ပါပဲ။

အဲ့ဒီ့ attribute ေတြဟာ HTML tag ရဲ႕ အလုပ္လုပ္ပံု၊ display ျပပံုကို သတ္မွတ္ပါတယ္။

ဒီဥပမာမွာ href ဆိုတဲ့ attribute ဟာ ဒီ link ကို click ႏွိပ္လုိက္ရင္ ဘယ္သြားမယ္လုိ႕ ေျပာေပးျပီး၊ title ဆိုတဲ့ attribute ဟာ ဒီ link ေပၚမွာ mouse တင္ထားရင္ ဘယ္စာ ျပရမယ္ ဆိုတာမ်ိဴးကို သတ္မွတ္ေပးတာေပါ့။

ေဆြမ်ိဴးရွိတဲ့ HTML tag

ေဆြမ်ိဴးရွိတယ္လုိ႕ ဘာလုိ႕ေျပာရလဲဆိုေတာ့ သူတုိ႕ေတြဟာ Tree Structure နဲ႕ ရွိေနလုိ႕ပါ။ ေအာက္က code ကို တခ်က္ၾကည့္ၾကည့္ပါ။

ဟုတ္ပါတယ္။ အသံုးအမ်ားဆံုးျဖစ္တဲ့ Windows မွာ နဂိုကတည္းက ပါျပီးသားျဖစ္တဲ့ Microsoft ရဲ႕ Internet Explorer, Mozilla ရဲ႕ Firefox, Opera, Mac ေတြမွာ ပါျပီးသားျဖစ္တဲ့ Apple ရဲ႕ Safari အျပင္ တျခားတျခား browser ေတြ အမ်ားၾကီးရွိပါတယ္။

Browser ေတြ ဘယ္လုိအလုပ္လုပ္ပါသလဲ?

Browser ေတြဟာ HTML ဆိုတဲ့ text file ေတြကို ဖတ္ျပီးေတာ့ <title> ဆိုတဲ့ tag မ်ိဴးေတြ႕ရင္ Window ရဲ႕ title အျဖစ္ျပေပးတယ္၊ <b> ဒါမွမဟုတ္ <strong> ကိုေတြ႕ရင္ Bold လုပ္ေပးတယ္။ Text file ေတြမွာ <a> ဆိုတာေလးေတြေတြ႕ရင္ သူ႕ရဲ႕ link ကို ျပေပးတယ္ ႏွိပ္လုိက္ရင္ အဲ့ဒီ့ link လုပ္ထားတဲ့ page ကို ဖြင့္ေပးတယ္၊ <img> ကိုေတြ႕ရင္ သူ႕ သက္ဆိုင္ရာ image ကိုျပေပးတယ္ စသျဖင့္ေပါ့။ HTML အျပင္ CSS ဆိုတဲ့ website ေတြကို ဘယ္လုိျပရမယ္ဆိုတဲ့ rule ေလးေတြကို website ေရးတဲ့သူက ထည့္ေပးရင္ အဲ့ဒီ့ browser တစ္ခုရဲ႕ ပံုမွန္ rule ေတြအျပင္ အဲ့ဒီ့ rule ေတြနဲ႕ပါျပေပးတယ္ဆိုပါေတာ့။

ဒီေတာ့ ဘာကိုေတြ႕ရင္ ဘာလုပ္ရမယ္ဆုိတဲ့ render သို႕ translate လုပ္ေပးတဲ့ engine ေလးေတြ သူတုိ႕မွာရွိၾကတယ္။ အဲ့ဒီ့ engine ေကာင္းရင္ ေကာင္းသေလာက္ သူတုိ႕ရဲ႕ performance ေကာင္းတယ္၊ speed ျမန္တယ္ေပါ့။

ဒါ့အျပင္ အခုအခ်ိန္မွာ web page တစ္ခုကို အသံုးလြယ္ေစဖုိ႕ interactive ျဖစ္ေစဖုိ႕အတြက္ သံုးေနၾကတဲ့ Javascript အတြက္ကိုလည္း support လုပ္တဲ့ engine ကလည္း web browser ေကာင္းမေကာင္းကို affect ျဖစ္တဲ့ အခ်က္တစ္ခုပါပဲ။

ဘယ္ Browser ကို သံုးသင့္သလဲ

ပံုမွန္သံုး user တစ္ေယာက္ အေနနဲ႕ အမ်ားစုသည္ နဂိုကတည္းကပါတဲ့ Internet Explorer(IE) ကိုသံုးၾကပါတယ္။ ဒါေပမယ့္ IE ဟာ အေကာင္းဆံုးလားဆိုေတာ့ မဟုတ္ပါဘူး။ အဆိုးဆံုးထဲမွာေတာင္ ပါတယ္လုိ႕ ေျပာလုိ႕ရပါတယ္။ အခုေနာက္ဆံုး version ျဖစ္တဲ့ vista မွာပါတဲ့ IE7 မွာ အမ်ားၾကီး ေကာင္းေအာင္ လုပ္ထားေပမယ့္လဲ သူ႕ရဲ႕ performance နဲ႕ functionality ဟာ တျခား browser ေတြကို မမွီေသးပါဘူး။

ကၽြန္ေတာ့္အေနနဲ႕ recommend လုပ္ခ်င္တဲ့ Firefox ကေတာ့ performance အရ၊ security အရ၊ speed အရ အမ်ားၾကီး ပိုေကာင္းတ့ဲအျပင္၊ open source ျဖစ္ျပီး developer ေတြ အမ်ားၾကီးရဲ႕ ေက်းဇူးေၾကာင့္ ကုိယ္လုိခ်င္တဲ့ functionality ေတြ အသုံးလုိတဲ့ functionality ေတြကို လြယ္လြယ္ကူကူ free plug-in ေတြ သြင္းျပီး customize လုပ္လုိ႕ ရတဲ့ အတြက္ အခု အခ်ိန္မွာ ဒုတိယ အသံုးအမ်ားဆံုးျဖစ္ေနပါတယ္။ အကယ္၍သာ IE သည္ အသံုးအမ်ားဆံုးျဖစ္တဲ့ Windows နဲ႕ အတူတူပါျပီးသား software တစ္ခု မဟုတ္ခဲ့ရင္ Firefox သည္ လူသံုးအမ်ားဆံုး browser တစ္ခုျဖစ္မွာပါပဲ။

Avatar ဆိုတာကိုေတာ့ Forum ဖတ္ဖူးတဲ့သူ၊ ယေန႕ေခတ္ website ေတြ သံုးဖူးတဲ့ သူတုိင္း သိေလာက္ပါတယ္။ မသိဘူးဆိုရင္ တစ္ေယာက္ေယာက္ေမးၾကည့္၊ သူကေျပာလိမ့္မယ္၊ “GTalk က display picture လုိမ်ိဳး website ေတြေပၚမွာ တင္တယ္မလား… အဲ့ဒီ့ပံုကို avatar လုိ႕ သူတုိ႕ေတြက ေခၚတယ္” လုိ႕ေျပာပါလိမ့္မယ္။ :)

Website တစ္ခုသံုးတုိင္း avatar တစ္ခု upload လုပ္မယ့္ အစား၊ myname@gmail.com အတြက္ကို avatar တစ္ခု upload လုပ္ျပီး ဘယ္ website မွာပဲသံုးသံုး အဲ့ဒီ့ upload လုပ္ထားတဲ့ avatar ကိုသံုးႏုိင္တာကို Gravatar လုိ႕ေခၚပါတယ္။

ဘာမွ ပူစရာမလုိပါဘူး။ အကယ္၍ email တစ္ခုမွာ Gravatar တစ္ခု မရွိဘူးဆုိရင္ အဲ့ဒီ့ website က သူ႕ရဲ႕ default ပံုေလးတစ္ခုပဲျဖစ္ျဖစ္၊ ဒါမွမဟုတ္ ဒီ site မွာလုိ အဲ့ဒီ့ email အတြက္ generate လုပ္ထားတဲ့ unique avatar ေလးတစ္ခု ျပေပးပါလိမ့္မယ္။

အင္မတန္ လြယ္ပါတယ္။ http://www.gravatar.com ကိုသြားပါ။ Account တစ္ခု sign up လုပ္ပါ။ ျပီးရင္ အဲ့ဒီ့မွာ ကိုယ္သံုးခ်င္တဲ့ email အတြက္ avatar တစ္ခုကို assign လုပ္ေပးလုိက္ပါ။ ဒါဆိုရင္ အဲ့ဒီ့ email ကိုသံုးထားတဲ့ Gravatar ကို support လုပ္တဲ့ website ေတြမွာ အဲ့ဒီ့ avatar ေပၚလာပါလိမ့္မယ္။

I’m not sure if you guys have heard about my project, Move to the Beat, a game based on the animated movie, Sing to the Dawn.

Sing to the Dawn is a movie by Infinite Frameworks, backed by Media Development Authority Singapore. This movie is based on award winning novel and produced “locally” here in Singapore.

This project was done as my final year project in one semester time, creating rhythm based game using flash. I was responsible for programming of the game engine and compiling all the assets given to me. Even though this project was already finished since last year’s December, its release has been delayed to accompany the release of the movie.

မေန႕က emo ေတြ အေၾကာင္းေျပာရင္းနဲ႕ စိတ္ထဲစဥ္းစားမိတာ ငါေရာဘယ္ႏွစ္ခါ emo ျဖစ္ခဲ့ဖူးလဲလုိ႕။

ျပီးေတာ့ သူငယ္ခ်င္းေတြနဲ႕ ဒီေန႕ ရုပ္ရွင္ေတြ အမ်ားၾကီး အေၾကာင္းေျပာရင္းနဲ႕ ဒီ post ေလးေရးဖုိ႕ idea ရလာတယ္ဆိုပါေတာ့။

Oskar Schindler(Liam Neeson) ဟာ ဒုတိယကမာၻစစ္တြင္းမွာ Jew ေတြကို အသံုးခ်ကာ စက္ရုံတစ္ခုကို ေထာင္ျပီး စစ္ျဖစ္စဥ္ အျမတ္ရဖုိ႕ လုပ္ခဲ့ပါတယ္။ Jew ေတြ ခံစားရတဲ့ ဒုကၡေတြ၊ ဖိႏွိပ္မႈေတြကို ျမင္လာရျပီး သနားစိတ္၀င္လာခဲ့တဲ့ သူဟာ Nazi ပါတီ၀င္ျဖစ္လ်က္ Jew ေတြကို ကယ္ပါေတာ့တယ္။

ကၽြန္ေတာ္တုိ႕ ျမန္မာႏုိင္ငံမွာေရာ စလံုးေရာက္ေနတဲ့ ျမန္မာေက်ာင္းသား population ေလးထဲမွာေရာ တျဖည္းျဖည္းနဲ႕ emo ေလးေတြ မ်ားမ်ားလာလုိက္တာ ဟိုလူလည္း emo ဒီလူလည္း emo နဲ႕ Popular trend တစ္ခုကိုျဖစ္လုိ႕။ ဒီလုိ popular trend တစ္ခုထဲ emo တစ္ေယာက္ အျဖစ္၀င္ဆံ့ႏုိင္ဖုိ႕ နည္းလမ္းေလးေတြ ေပးလုိက္ပါတယ္။

Emo ဆိုတာဘာလဲ?

Emo ဆုိတဲ့ ေ၀ါဟာရဟာရွိခဲ့တာ ၾကာပါျပီ၊ ဒါေပမယ့္ အခု အခ်ိန္ အထိ တိတိက်က် definition ဘယ္သူမွ မထုတ္ႏုိင္ေသးပါဘူး။

  • ဒီေတာ့ စိတ္ညစ္တယ္ဆိုတဲ့ စကား ကိုယ့္ဟာကို ခဏခဏ repeat လုပ္ေပးပါ၊

ျမင္ျမင္ရသမွ်ကို ေတြ႕သေလာက္ ေျပာျပတာေပါ့ေလ။ ဒါေပမယ့္ emo ေတြရဲ႕ style မိုက္တယ္ unique ျဖစ္တယ္ဆိုျပီး emo ျဖစ္ခ်င္တဲ့ သူေတြကိုေတာ့ သတိေပးရမယ္။ သူတုိ႕ရဲ႕ fashion ကုိ ေမာင္ျမတ္မင္းဟန္ ေသခ်ာေလ့လာထားလုိ႕ အေပၚမွာလုိ ေရးႏုိင္တာ မဟုတ္ပါဘူး။

လူတိုင္းလုိလုိ ဒီ uniform နဲ႕ေတြ႕ေနရလုိ႕ ေျပာႏုိင္တာပါ။ ဒီေတာ့က unique ျဖစ္ခ်င္လုိ႕ emo ျဖစ္လုိ႕ကေတာ့ unique ျဖစ္တဲ့ လူေထာင္ေသာင္း သိန္းသန္းေပါင္း မ်ားစြာ ထဲက တစ္ေယာက္ေတာ့ ျဖစ္လာႏုိင္တယ္လုိ႕။
